Apostle Terry Davis
In the year of 1986, a group of seminary students opened a local gym and ministered to the community through sports. Apostle Terry Davis found his passion for Christ by participating in the local gym activities and became one of the founders of the Christian Athletic Basketball ministry. Thereafter he started running for God and participating in discipleship classes through the ministry. Apostle Davis eventually became one of the disciple leaders and drawing many youth to the Kingdom of God using sports as a vehicle to bring forth the gospel and discipleship. Terry became very active in his community, participating in various campaigns and anti-drug movements across the city.
In 1988 he became a Cross Road Ministries volunteer participating in prison ministry and mentoring programs. The prison ministry allowed him to share the word in various facilities such as the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC), youth study centers, the house of corrections, and detention centers. Furthering his passion to help those incarcerated, Apostle Davis decided to work in the prison system. Over an eleven-year period, he was influential in the state juvenile facility, state psychiatric ward, the federal correctional institute and the federal detention center.
He was a youth ministry and program leader in Covenant Community Church and then graduated from New Life Bible institute while attending Beulah Baptist Church in 2003. Apostle Terry Davis is an entrepreneur founding Heaven Helpers Cleaning services in 1999 which later became Davis Specialized Services in 2010. Apostle Davis was a proud member of Mt. Carmel International under the leadership of Apostle Carolyn McNeil & Pastor Matthew McNeil at which he was licensed as a minister in May 2013. Shortly thereafter, he became one of the Founders of “The Lighthouse, Light of The World Healing & Deliverance Ministry” upon his release to the call of Pastorialship in September 2015 which is now under the oversight of Apostle Robert Davidson, New Destiny International Outreach Center. In December 2020, he was ordained and installed as an Apostle.
He is also the founder and president of Emmanuel Coalition For Change & Emmanuel Coalition Ministries, profit and non-profit organizations, which seeks to enable leaders of the gospel to work full-time ministry, develop new leaders and entrepreneurs, improve the community and meet the holistic needs of people across the nation. He seeks to meet the physical needs of the community but build up the spiritual and emotional qualities that will enable communities to reach their full potential. He is also a Pennsylvania certified foster parent.
Apostle Terry Davis is the husband of Apostle Camina Davis, the father of three children: Tanisha Davis, Terrance L. Davis, Tyrell Davis and one stepson, Alexander J. Mitchell and grandfather of Gabrielle, Isabella, & Mason Davis.
